The Guideline of Bone Marrow Match for Overseas Referral Case (for No Bone Marrow Bank Countries )
1. The Purpose
In order to help the staffs in the overseas offices that work for social care cases, when the patient needs help for unrelated bone marrow match. Make sure that overseas staffs obtain the corresponding information to expedite the procedure with the BTCSCC staffs, avoid unnecessary e-mail, phone call and fax.
2. The information requirements and operating procedures for matching process:
||Please ask the patient family members to provide the patients HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) typing including at least three loci: HLA-A, B, and DRB1. Resolution not designated.
||Provide the information of patients attending physicians contact phone, fax and e-mail to the BTCSCC staffs, in order to contact directly with the attending physician for corresponding assistance.
||If the BTCSCC staffs receive the referral information, according to " the principle of preliminary matching process " , they will reply the matching result to the attending physician and overseas staffs within one working day.
